At Top Brush Intervention, we don’t just clear brush — we chew through it. Our West Michigan based herd of hoofed heroes specializes in targeted grazing, offering a fun, eco-friendly way to tackle invasive plants, pesky undergrowth and unruly landscapes. No chemicals, no engines — just hungry Spanish goats and happy land.
From lakeshore dunes to rolling hills and everything in between, our goats go where machines fear to tread. Steep slopes? No problem. Thick brush? Even better. Each member of our grazing crew is a natural-born land manager, working in harmony with the environment to restore native beauty and reduce fire hazards.
Whether you’re a landowner, park steward, or just tired of looking at that wall of poison ivy, Top Brush Intervention is your quirky, sustainable solution — proudly serving the wild and wonderful corners of West Michigan. We specialize in Ada, Cascade, Lowell, Grand Rapids, Caledonia and Rockford.
Eco-friendly. Delightfully effective. Powered by goats.

Services
Residential Grazing
Say goodbye to tangled thickets, poison ivy jungles and areas where you’ve said, “No way am I going in there.” Our goats love helping homeowners reclaim their yards, wooded areas and those hard-to-reach spaces that lawnmowers wouldn’t dare touch. They’re quiet, clean and oddly charming neighbors while they work.
What to Expect
Before we commit our goat crew to your land, we’ll evaluate your site and goals, then provide a detailed estimate. Most projects run from a single day up to two weeks, depending on the size, density and appetite level required. The number of goats is tailored to your terrain — we scale the herd to match the job.

Heads up! We fill up every season.
Like your favorite farm-to-table restaurant, our schedule fills up fast — so the earlier you reach out, the better your chances of locking in a spot. Goats wait for no one (unless they’re chewing).
Commercial, Business & Government Properties
From office park overgrowth to neglected retention ponds, or overgrown park vegetation our herd offers a natural, eye-catching solution to landscape maintenance. Clients love the results — and the publicity that comes with a goat-powered cleanup crew. Got wetlands? Marshes? Steep ravines? Our goats aren’t picky — they’re professionals.
About Us
Powered by Goats. Guided by a Veterinarian. Rooted in West Michigan.
At Top Brush Intervention, we believe in working with nature — not against it. Our herd of brush-clearing champions isn’t just any bunch of goats. They’re purpose-bred, joyfully grazing, land-healing professionals raised right here in West Michigan by our founder and resident goat-whisperer, Dr. Michelle Walker, DVM.
With over 13 years of veterinary experience and a deep love for animals and the land, Michelle has built a farm where both goats and ecosystems thrive. Her approach is simple: raise healthy, happy animals that do what they love — and do it well. The result? A low-impact, high-charm way to restore overgrown landscapes with the help of some of the hardest-working hooves in the business.
Why Spanish Goats?
We’re glad you asked. Spanish goats are a heritage breed known for their incredible toughness, agility and appetite for destruction — of invasive plants, that is. These goats are the ninjas of the brush world, effortlessly navigating rough terrain, dense undergrowth and swampy spots like it’s just another day at the office.
Their cheery personalities and good health reflect the kind, conscientious care they receive every day. When they’re not on a grazing mission, they’re busy living their best goat lives — socializing, sunbathing and getting head scratches. Many of our clients look forward to their annual goat visit as much as they do the end of snow season. And once you’ve seen our team in action — joyfully chomping through a tangle of thistle or poison ivy — we think you’ll understand why.
Top Brush Intervention isn’t just about brush removal. It’s about building a more balanced relationship with the land — one nibble at a time. We're proud to offer a service that’s effective, sustainable and just a little bit magical.
